What's Christmas with out sparkles! For my image I've used Frosty Penguins from the Octavia Frosted Winter collection. You can also get the image as an individual digi here. My sparkles are from using the new Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens.

Digi Choosday - Favourite Colour Combo

One of my favoured combo's is pink & green, I love the contrast of them together. For this card, I've used Octavia - Bird in Hand as my main image. The sentiment is also Octavia, but from the Moonfly collection, as is the alphabet I've used to make the 'daughter' tag and the pink backing paper.

I've coloured with Spectrum Noirs for the main image:

Wendy - For this weeks card I've used a Snowman from Picnix 2 Gingerbread Twist, on the front and cut the edge. The backing paper is from the same collection as is the frame and sentiment. However, the sentiment comes in black, but I have recoloured it white and put on a black background for the blackboard effect.

For this weeks challenge, I'm actually on my holidays, so what better image to use than the girl Swimmer form Work & Play 4, you can her as an individual digi here. I've used a sentiment form the same collection and the two papers are from Work & Play 3.

I've used Spectrum Noir markers to colour my image and Spun Sugar Distress ink on the die cut frame with the sentiment.

I love these cute bees and anything with a toadstool for me is a must, so I chose this image from the Sugarplum Daisy CD. THe backing paper is from the same collection. The sentiment I chose fits perfectly and I love the chalkboard effect of it, you can find it s part of the Work & Play 10 - Country Life collection. To accentuate the wings of both the fairy and the bees, I have added sparkly Stickles.

Crafts Galore Encore - Kenny K

For this months sponsor on Crafts Galore Encore, we have Kenny K. When I saw this image was one of the optioned I jumped at the oppertunity. It was obvious to me from the start what I was going to do with it and keep it sympathetic to Wham art. I've used Spectrum Noir Markers to colour the image, I've kept the colouring very flat, the same as can be found in the Wham art movement and just used a single pen for each colour, to avoid unneccersary dimension. The card is actually for my sisters birthday this month, so I created my own sentiments using Craft Artist. To complete the card, I mounted on a bright blue card, found in my age old stash, I felt it better suited the 'Wham' ethos than a white card.

So for my Fathers Day card, I've used elements from Work & Play 3, available as a CD rom or downloadable here. Both backing papers are from the Male Caravan section, with the check paper having been re-coloured in Craft Artist. The sentiment is also from this collection and I suspect originally susposed to match with the Doctors in the collection, but fits perfectly with my theme. The image is also available as a digi for you to colour here.

The 'Dad' word is stamped usiing Clarity word box stampes & letters.
