Digi Choosday - Favourite Colour Combo

One of my favoured combo's is pink & green, I love the contrast of them together. For this card, I've used Octavia - Bird in Hand as my main image. The sentiment is also Octavia, but from the Moonfly collection, as is the alphabet I've used to make the 'daughter' tag and the pink backing paper.

I've coloured with Spectrum Noirs for the main image:

Dress - DG4, DG3, DG2, DG1

Hair - EB8, EB5, GB10

Skin - TN4, FS4, FS1

Bird & Cage - EB8, EB5, GB10, GB8

The 'Daughter' tag is from Spellbinders 5x7 Elegant Labels 4 die set and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Flowers.

Digi Choosday - Feeling Sentimental

I love this sentiment from the Octavia Moonfly collection and had a picture of my dog, Kayla, that suited it perfectly so decided to do a scrapbook page.This has been made 100% digitally using Craft Artist. The shadow of the fairies, which are the pre-coloured images from the same collection, have been changed to silhouettes, again using Craft Artist. All the embellies are also from the Octavia Moonfly. Several of these elements are available in smaller kits too on the Octavia page.

I've chosen this week to use one of the pre-coloured images from Octavia Moonfly, just as a reminder you don't always need to hand colour if you don't have time! However, if you do have time to colour, the digi stanp of Octavia Rose Garden is also available on her own here. The backing paper on the mounted tiles are also from the same collection.

Digi Choosday - Tag it! & My anniversay

Well seeing as it's my 1st anniversary this week for being on this fabby team, I gone all out and used not 1 but 4 images. (Greedy, I know!) I've used Octavia Bird in Hand on the front and the 3 other images on the tags inside are all from Octavia Moonfly. The papers and sentiments are all from this collection, however they can also be found in mini kits on the Octavia Collections page.

And here's my picture titorial of how I made it.

All the images have been coloured with Distress Markers and the papers edged with Tea Dye Distress Ink. I made the hat pins and those along with the feathers using items from my stash.

For this weeks Kraft theme, I've used the pre-colured Octavia Dragonfly and border from the Octavia Moonfly collection and printed directly onto Kraft card for a muted look. You can get her also as a digi here. The flowers are also from the same collection, but can also be bought in the Blooming Heaven mini flower kit. I've printed these on shrink plastic to miniaturise them.

Polkadoodles - Anything but square

For this weeks challenge, I've used one of the cutting files for the card shape, available here. Both backing papers and the image are from the Octavia Moonfly collection. You can also get the image, Octavia Unicorn, on her own here as a digi.

I've coloured the image with my Distress Markers, handstitched around the edge, made my own flowers hat pins to match and used a Graph'It marker to colour the lace in the right colour.

Digi Choosday - Spots & Dots

For this wweks card, I've used the Wedding Night image from Work & Play 9 'Love & Kisses', you can also get her as a single digi here. Both the spotty papers are from the same collection and the backing paper in taupe is from the Plain Jane section of Octavia Moonfly, this whole section of papers can also be purchased on their own here.

I've coloured this image with Distress Markers and made my own flowers so they match perfectly.

Polkadoodles - Pink & Pretty

For my pink & pretty card, I've used backing papers and one of the images from the Octavia Moonfly CD, that was on Create & Craft earlier in the week. Octavia herself is also available as a digi download here. I've used my Graph'it markers to colour Octavia and to colour paper to make my own flowers in complementing colours.
