What's Christmas with out sparkles! For my image I've used Frosty Penguins from the Octavia Frosted Winter collection. You can also get the image as an individual digi here. My sparkles are from using the new Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens.

Digi Choosday - Favourite Colour Combo

One of my favoured combo's is pink & green, I love the contrast of them together. For this card, I've used Octavia - Bird in Hand as my main image. The sentiment is also Octavia, but from the Moonfly collection, as is the alphabet I've used to make the 'daughter' tag and the pink backing paper.

I've coloured with Spectrum Noirs for the main image:

Digi Choosday - Feeling Sentimental

I love this sentiment from the Octavia Moonfly collection and had a picture of my dog, Kayla, that suited it perfectly so decided to do a scrapbook page.This has been made 100% digitally using Craft Artist. The shadow of the fairies, which are the pre-coloured images from the same collection, have been changed to silhouettes, again using Craft Artist. All the embellies are also from the Octavia Moonfly. Several of these elements are available in smaller kits too on the Octavia page.

Digi Choosday - Ice & Snow

Wendy - For this weeks card I've used a Snowman from Picnix 2 Gingerbread Twist, on the front and cut the edge. The backing paper is from the same collection as is the frame and sentiment. However, the sentiment comes in black, but I have recoloured it white and put on a black background for the blackboard effect.

For my monochrome card I've used Etty Shy from the Winston collection. You can also get Etty as an individual digi here. Both the dotty and striped backing papers are from the same collection, however I have darkened the dotty paper with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

I've colured the image with Walnut Stain, Gathers Twigs & Antique Linen Distress Markers and the shadow was done with Black Soot Distress Marker.

I've used Spectrum Noir markers to colour my image and Spun Sugar Distress ink on the die cut frame with the sentiment.

For this weeks card, I've used Maddie Twirling Curls from the Pretty Sweet CD collection,  you can get Maddie as a digi download here. My die is the Just for You Pansy topper set and cut from papers from the Work & Play 6.

I've coloured with Spectrum Noir markers and finished with 3 hand made hat pins and a pretty bow.

Embellish it - Digi Choosday

For this weeks card, I've used the clock cutting file as the base card and just cut an extra hole through the centre to give an aperture. The birdhouse image is one of the digistamps from the Picnix - In the Garden collection, as are all the flowers, sign, flower pots and bugs, as well as the backing paper. You can also get this collection as part of the complete Picnix 1 and is combined with two other kits.

I've coloured the image with Distress Markers and edged the paper with Walnut Stain Distress ink.

I love these cute bees and anything with a toadstool for me is a must, so I chose this image from the Sugarplum Daisy CD. THe backing paper is from the same collection. The sentiment I chose fits perfectly and I love the chalkboard effect of it, you can find it s part of the Work & Play 10 - Country Life collection. To accentuate the wings of both the fairy and the bees, I have added sparkly Stickles.

Eughh, less than 6 months till christmas, best get cracking on the cards then! For my Z-fold card, I've used several images from Picnix 2 - Gingerbread Twist and resized using Craft Artist. Both backing papers and the ribbon strips are also from this collection.

Digi Choosday - Use some embossing

I've used both dry and heat embossing on this project. I have dry embossed the backing paper, which can be found as part of the Nikky mini kit. The bonnet image is one of the embellishment digi's from the Rose Budd collection. My heat embossing is the semtiment in the corner.

The trellis die cut is from Tonic, cut from a Sage Green pearlescent card. I've an Embossalicious embossing folder, from Crafters Companion and edged with Bundled Sage Distress Ink. I've coloured the image with Spectrum Noirs and the sentiment is from a freebie I had from one of the Crafters Companion magazines and has been heat embossed with Arctic Bay Lustre embossing powder from Cosmic Shimmer.

Digi Choosday - Tag it! & My anniversay

Well seeing as it's my 1st anniversary this week for being on this fabby team, I gone all out and used not 1 but 4 images. (Greedy, I know!) I've used Octavia Bird in Hand on the front and the 3 other images on the tags inside are all from Octavia Moonfly. The papers and sentiments are all from this collection, however they can also be found in mini kits on the Octavia Collections page.

And here's my picture titorial of how I made it.

All the images have been coloured with Distress Markers and the papers edged with Tea Dye Distress Ink. I made the hat pins and those along with the feathers using items from my stash.
