Through the Purple Haze Challenge #26

Time for another challenge. This week for Through the Purple Haze challenge the theme is Die Cuts & Digi's. We had the great privilege of working with two fabulous digi designers and some even had some Tattered Lace dies.

I got to use use two digi's and here's what I came up with.

For the Lacy Sunshine image, I've done a tag for a change. Using background paper from one of Docrafts new range, I coloured the image to compliment the feathers on the paper. Bit crazy having blue hair, but hey, why not! The Iris was made with the new Spellbinders die which I had delivered this week. The image was printed onto white card and coloured, to tone it down I liberally applied Tim Holtz Tea Stain Distress ink all over the image. I finished the tag off with a lovely piece of lace ribbon.

Really chuffed with the end product of this one, it's finished up really cute with a vintage feel.

From Pink Gem's Designs, I chose a this cute little girl in a much more classic design. It felt like a real spring image, especially in good old blighty. Daffs blooming, but freezing cold and wind whipping up the leaves!

The extra leaves are all cut from a stamped image and glued on with 3D glue gel to give dimension. Mounted on my favourite colour mat a the moment (black) and finished with a ribbon across the bottom.

I used Spectrum Noirs to colour both images (listed below),
