Digi Choosday Challenge 8 - ATG

I've tried something this week I haven't done in a long time, I've done paper piecing. The image I've used is Maddie Twirling Curls. I've coloured her face with Graph'its and all the papers used in the image are taken from the Tail Feather bundle.

Polkadoodles - All things Kraft

Time for a bit more Kraft. Just one week left to enter the Polkadoodles challenge, for my contribution this week I've used the Violin Girl from Work & Play 8 and I've coloured her with Graph'its, she's also available on her own as a digi. I've used a bit of artistic licene with my chioce of papers, which is from the same collection. Although they are not strictly Kraft, I felt the muted colours and the texture gave that impression.

Big happy news

Well I'm happy to say this is my first posting as part of the Polkadoodles design team. Having worked on the Digi Choosday DT for the past 7 months, I already know how much fun Nikkys art is to work with, so I couldn't resist applying for a spot on the Polkadoodles team and to my glee, Nikky offered me a spot YAYYYYYY!

For this fortnights theme is all about Kraft and there's lots of wonderfully inspirational images and embellies on the Winston CD, based on the Kraft card theme.
For my card, I've just used one design sheet and one paper. The design sheets are an awesome way to create a pretty card, very quickly.

Head on over to the Polkadoodles blog to see what has been 'Kraft'y items have been created this week for your inspiration.

Digi Choosday Challenge 6 - Love is in the Air

For this weeks project, I've used the bird cage template and birds from the Love Birds Bundle. It was so easy to make, with all the measurements already done and can be easily imported into your cutting machine software. I've decorated the cage with flowers from the Pretty Little Things bundle as are the hearts.I've finished with a few blue star sprays and a pretty bow at the top, giving something to hang it by.

Church tea light holder

I've been playing with the cutting files from the new Work & Play 9 'Love & Kisses'. I've used the Church template from the cutting files and folding it rather than keeping it flat, made it into a Tea Light holder (battery operated obviously!) Both images are also available on their own as well, I've used the Female Vicar on one side and the Bride & Groom on the other. The brick paper is from Work & Play 1 and the wood paper is from Work & Play 2.
