Digi Choosday Challenge 36 - Monochromatic

Oooo, lovely challenge this week on Digi Choosday

Monochromatic

I've always loved to colour in sepia tones, so the colour scheme on this was an obvious choice and I felt the Rose Budd Collection was perfect for this. I chose Charlotte for my image from the collection and all the papers are from it too. The image is coloured with Promarkers, the edges of the papers have been distressed with Hazelnut Adirondak and I finished the design of with a mix of pearls, lace, flowers and chipboard leaves.

Don't forget to join in at Digi Choosday and for even more inspiration, hop on over to the Polkadoodles blog too, where the Digi Queens will give you some wonderful inspiration.

Digi Choosday Challenge 35 - Travel/Holidays

For Digi Choosday this week the challenge is

Travel/Holidays

As soon as I saw this challenge, I knew which image I wanted to use, the Carriage from the Rose Budd Collection. The backing papers and the paper used for the flowers are also from there. I've used the flourishes from one of the new cutting files and resized them on the Silhouette. I haven't put a sentiment on, but it would be perfect for any little girl.

I've coloured the image with Promarkers and used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Spun Sugar for the edge of the die cut.
