Crafters Companion examples

Hi all,
Just thought I'd add a few more examples of cards I've done.
These ones are are all made using either Crafters Companion CD's or stamps.

Docrafts Wellington Bear

Ok, so it's taken a few months to work out how to add to my blog, but I have now done it so time to add a few pictures of some of my work.

These are stamped with Docrafts Wellington Bear stamps and coloured with Promarkers.
I particularly like the bottom card, 3 totally different versions of the same stamp.

Double Gate Fold Card

• Take 2 A6 size cards, fold each in half
• On 1 side of a card, fold that in half outwards
• Fold the outward folded section in half again, this time inwards on itself.
• Repeat for 2nd card.

• Glue together the large areas of the two cards to make the rear of the card. This should give you a gate fold effect
• Glue the second flap to first folded are. Repeat this on second side of card.

• Your card should now be able to stand freely.
• Decorate to your own requirements.
• ENJOY!!!!!!

 

I've used Hunkydory toppers to create an overlap on each layer of the card.

Together with a little matting and layering, this makes a truly original card.
