Inidgoblu purple canvas

Phew, this has taken quite some time to finish, but now I have I'm really pleased with it. The stamps were free with a crafting magazine and as soon as I saw them I just knew I needed to get my Melt Pot out the box and use it for the first time. I used beeswax to seal everything on the canvas and although I'm sure I'll get better with practise, I was surprised how difficult the beeswax was to work with. But I did and here it is.

I was also quite surprised to find just how hard it is to get a good stamped image on stretched canvas!

Ingredients:
Indigoblu stamps - Free from Simply Cards and Papercraft
A5 Canvass & 2" square canvas
Paint to coat canvas - Docrafts Artiste Latte & Blackberry
Purple twine - Docrafts
Black inkpad - Ranger Archival
Flower die & stamp - Spellbinders & Creative Expressions
Beeswax - Cosmic Shimmer

I am entering this project into the following challenges:

  3. Great entry for the IndigoBlu Challenge Wendy. Try stamping onto tissue then applying it to your canvas with Slap It On. It's much easier

  8. A fantastic canvas Wendy. I can see you've taken so much time to get this right. Well done you on getting those dragonflies on the raised rectangle to match up with the main canvas as that's not easy. Thank you for joining us at IndigoBlu. Jenny x
