I've used Dollie Daydream Oriental Digi and coloured in non traditional colours.The background papers are from the Rose Papers Bundle and altered to a teal colour in Craft Artist. The flower accent is from the Pretty Little Things bundle.

Punches & Dies Digi Choosday Challenge #27

Totally loved making this weeks card for the Digi Choosday challenge, got to play with some of my favourite dies! 

Punches & Dies

I've used Summer Stroll from Emma Canning and coloured with Graph'It markers. Both backing papers are from Picknix 1 CD and the sentiment is from Work & Play 2 digi collection download. 

All the dies are Spellbinders. The background square is from Imperial Gold Elements collection and the Lilies are made from Create a Stargazer lily. The sentiment frame and the bow are Heartfelt Creations and Sue Wilson respectively.

Feeling a bit blue?????

I've coloured the image with Graph'its. The embossing folder, I inked and then embossed to get the impression in colour, the folder is a Beatrix Potter folder from Crafters Companion.

Ballerina Aperture card Challenge # 26

So excited when I saw the theme for Digi Choosday challenge this week, I knew straight away the image I wanted to use. The ballerina and all the papers are from Work & Play 2, as is the ticker tape which comes as individual sentiment tickets, but I've adapted it into a strip using Craft Artist and coloured with Pan Pastels.

The image has been coloured with a mix of Promarkers for the hair and tutu and I've used Graph it markers for the skin, I love the colouration they give.

Rick St Denis - No straight angles

Always a difficult challenge this one, got to do a card but with no straight angles. Right the dies are out!
The sponsor this week for Through The Purple Haze is Rick St Dennis. His images are always so original and different to any thing else out there and such a pleasure to colour with Promarkers.

The flowers are made from X Cut flower dies, inked to match the colour scheme and shaped to make them look a bit more edgy. the centres of the flowers are Craftwork Cards Candi.

For my first card as part of the team, I haven't actually done a card! The template for the exploding box is here for free! I've used The Happy Couple from Emma Canning and coloured with Graph'It Markers. The papers are in Emma Canning Blue/Teal bundle and Rose papers bundle, which I have recoloured in Craft Artist, as I have for the flowers from Pretty Little Things & Back to Nature. Finally I added recoloured sentiments from the Marriage bundle.
